Flowers

This series came from observing how sometimes the cut flowers would transform and become even more beautiful with age. I bought the flowers for my elderly mother who I cared for at home until she passed away. Wonderfully, the flower’s journey paralleled how I observed my mother and the beauty she carried until she peacefully left at home in her own bed nudging 102.
